Summary in one sentence: we collect the data you type yourself, we use it only to reply to you, we do not sell it or share it with anyone, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time by writing to hola@j-dev.es.
Who processes your data

What data is collected and what for
Contact form. Name and email (required), and phone number, type of business and message if you choose to provide them. They are used solely to reply to your enquiry and, if both sides are interested, to prepare a proposal for you. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox before submitting.
Automated assistant. If you use the chat, the content of the conversation is stored so we can see what questions people have and improve the website. If during the chat you leave your name and email so that we contact you, they are stored in the same way as those from the form. You do not need to identify yourself to use the chat.
Abuse control. When you submit the form, an encrypted, irreversible code derived from your IP address is stored, with the sole purpose of limiting automated submissions. The IP address itself is not stored and this code does not allow you to be identified. The lawful basis is the legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used, which measures visits in aggregate without installing cookies or building profiles of individuals. For that reason this website does not need to show you a cookie banner.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a maximum of two years and then deleted. If we end up working together, the data associated with the business relationship is kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law. Chat conversations are kept for a maximum of one year.
Who it is shared with
With no one for commercial purposes. It is never sold or passed on. For the website to work, the following providers are used, acting as data processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, visit statistics and the database where messages are stored. The data is stored on servers in the European Union.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — sending of emails.
- OpenAI, L.L.C. — language model that generates the assistant's answers. Conversations are not used to train models.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You may ask to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and request that it be provided to you in a portable format. To exercise these rights, simply write to hola@j-dev.es stating what you want; we reply within a maximum of one month and it is free of charge.

If you consider that your request has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es), the supervisory authority.
Security
All traffic travels encrypted (HTTPS). The database is not accessible from the browser: only the server can write to and read from it, and only for the operations described here.
